Lens That x POLIN Museum: Exploring The World Of Majer Kirszenblat Through AR
Explore the behind-the-scenes of our collaboration with POLIN Museum that brought Majer Kirszenblat’s art to life with Augmented Reality, becoming a bridge between history, culture, and the modern audience.
About the exhibition
The AR Experience we created for POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews complements the temporary exhibition (post)JEWISH… Shtetl Opatów Through the Eyes of Majer Kirszenblat. The display tells the story of a small town in southeastern Poland, in which the artist recreates scenes remembered from his early life, guiding visitors through everyday moments of the Jewish community before the war, exploring forgotten history and celebrating local heritage.
In his work, Majer Kirszenblat brings back his memories in great detail, using vibrant color, humor and imaginative style, just as the world is seen through the eyes of a child, shedding light on the world that once existed right next to what we know.
